• Language Academics, Cultural Excellence.

Welcome to the International School of Arizona, where we prepare our students to become valued citizens of the world. Our fully accredited French and Spanish language immersion programs start in Early Childhood at 18 months and go through 8th Grade Middle School. For over 21 years we have been passionately offering the opportunity of a progressive international education and advanced multi-lingual academics in a safe, diverse and nurturing environment. Our evolving, adaptive curriculum follows the requirements of the French Ministry of Education / Le Ministère de l’Education Nationale and the Spanish Ministry of Education / El Ministerio De Education y Ciencia .

This curriculum is brought to life for each of our students by our amazing ISA teachers - our greatest asset and the foundation of our school. With vast international backgrounds, teaching experiences and advanced degrees held by many, your child will expand and develop their social skills, manners, experiential art, music and academics - all immersed in French or Spanish language.

The demand for more language exposure in schools has led to more and more public, private and charter schools offering second language classes as a weekly enrichment or elective class. In traditional second language classes such as these, the target language is the subject of instruction, often representing just one hour weekly. Language immersion, however, uses the target language to teach other subjects such as mathematics, science, social studies, music and art. This allows your child to learn a second language naturally - never even realizing the point they become fluent. They just do.

There is a special feeling a parent gets when they know they are in the “right place” for their family. ISA is more than a best-in-class, fully accredited, well-established language school - it is a unique community of incredibly supportive, diverse, multicultural families who view the opportunity of language academics a lifelong gift to their children. We invite you to consider whether ISA is that “right place” for your family.

  • COOKIES 1 The WE Team will be selling gourmet cookies starting April 23. We will be selling for the next few weeks as we develop an awareness of conditions for children in the Kibera slum of Nairobi, Kenya. Your cookie purchases will fund breakfast or lunch for children who attend school there. Without the nutrition, they cannot study and do well.

The cookie bags sell for $5 (5 cookies) or $10 (10 cookies). The gift box sells for $15 and contains 2 large bags of cookies, is decorated with a bow and makes an ideal Mother's Day gift! You may choose mocha flavor or blueberry muffin flavor. The cookies are fresh and have a short shelf life as they are made specifically for campaigns such as ours.
