At the International School of Arizona, you will find a diverse community of international educators, parents, and students - resulting in respect and cultural awareness across all races, nationalities and socioeconomic categories. Our families and teachers represent over 40 countries, creating a dynamic, international environment. We welcome you to experience our world today.
Our mission is to provide an excellent mulitilingual education in a safe, diverse, and nurturing environment.
As international educators, we aspire to be recognized worldwide as progressive leaders making a difference in lives of our students. We teach academic excellence, promote global awareness and inspire tomorrow’s leaders.
Our community is made up of diverse yet, like-minded, multicultural parents who demand high academic standards. Our families come from various national, ethnic and religious groups that understand the great gift of language and academic excellence they are offering their children.
The student population ranges from 18 months (PK1) through Grade 8. From PK1 through Grade 5, parents select either the French Program or the Spanish Program, where the majority of the day is taught in the target language.
In our International Honors Middle School, Grades 6-8, we offer an honors level International Curriculum with Advanced Foreign Language for students who wish to excel in academics, receive intensive language instruction by native speaking teachers, and socialize with students from the U.S. and other countries. The Middle School curriculum is available in three different formats that balance the language mix and is structured to prepare students for traditional US high school while maintaining their language excellence.
Middle School students wishing to continue with Advanced French may follow our French Curriculum, which is structured on the French Ministry of Education Middle School accreditation standards. Our Middle School graduates are well prepared for the best college preparatory and International Baccalaureate high schools in the USA and beyond.
Discover how you can give your child the life-long gifts of a second language, and the skills he or she will need to successfully navigate our rapidly changing world.
